Join us at the historic Berriman-Morgan Cigar Factory, 1407 N Howard Avenue in West Tampa at 4 p.m. to hear a welcome from Guido Maniscalco, a Tampa City Council member, and Nick Jammal, PE, owner of the Berriman-Morgan. We will then learn about the history of West Tampa from Manny Leto, Director of Preserve the ‘Burg followed by a presentation on how to utilize historic tax credits to make your next restoration project financially feasible. Presented by Preservation Architect and Developer, Stephanie Ferrell, FAIA.

Following the presentations we will embark on a quick tour of the Berriman-Morgan Cigar Factory and then head out on a rubber tire trolley, generously provided by the Krewe of West Tampa, for a trip up Howard Avenue to the MacFarlane Building, currently under renovation by Hamilton Jones who will share his own financial strategy. To wrap things up we will visit and tour another great example of what is possible through historic preservation - the Morgan Cigar Factory building currently home of Gulf Tile.
